Then i tried the on board basic sound and it worked right off the bat without any issue. I cant help but wonder if asus either lost good talent on the dev team and they simply do not have the basic level of competence required to support their products. The person who should be overseeing this fail team of devs really should be terminated for gross dereliction of duty. As a developer I understand very well how this works, they put someone who has no understanding of coding in charge of coders and new hires.
